Movie Review: LOGAN (Review #2)
Sad, brutal, powerful, and most importantly, freshly original, Logan is a great piece of cinema with performers committed to this material in a way we haven't quite seen before in the genre which pays off by hitting emotional heights for which the audience might be as unprepared for as much as they are touched by it.

Movie Review: LOGAN
Logan is the latest X-Men spinoff
film featuring Wolverine and is the final film for both Hugh Jackman’s
Wolverine and Sir Patrick Stewart’s Professor Xavier (or so they say). Set in
2029, we meet up with an aging and weakening Wolverine who has a job as a limo
driver while attending to the ailing nonagenarian Charles Xavier. The conflict
of the film arises when Logan (or James or Wolverine) encounters a woman and a
young girl and becomes intertwined with their quest. James Mangold returns
after The Wolverine to direct this
film which stars Jackman, Stewart, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holdbrook, Stephen
Merchant, and Richard E. Grant.

Trailer Review: LOGAN (Trailer #2)
The first trailer for the new film Logan was so good that
most of us were sitting here asking ourselves if they just shot themselves in the foot. With
the Johnny Cash music that created a tone that made us excited yet a little
worried about the full movie, considering they probably weren’t going to run "Hurt" on repeat. That’s where all eyes went on the second trailer, worrying if
it didn’t live up to the hype perhaps the greatness of the first trailer did
really all come from the music. Put your worries aside, this trailer was
fantastic. Check it out below:

Trailer Review: LOGAN (A Double Take)
Howdy fellow film freaks, Robert and The Merc are here to give you our thoughts on the first trailer for Logan.
Oh happy day. Hugh Jackman is returning for what is, by my rough estimation, his 147th appearance as Wolverine in the new movie Logan, debuting March 2017. Bask in the sunshine and happiness that is the first trailer below:

Movie Review: GREEN ROOM (Review #2)

Movie Review: GREEN ROOM
In the last couple years, one of the most increasingly interesting studios in the film industry has been A24, a studio seemingly specializing in distributing interesting, quirky, and off-the-beaten-road films, such as 2014's Under the Skin. 2015 was their big breakout year, though, being involved either partially or wholly in the distribution of Academy Award nominees like Room, Ex Machina, and Amy. This year's been no slouch either, with this year's The Witch, one of the most fascinating horror movies in years, being released under their label. And now, for their latest venture, we have Green Room from director, Jeremy Saulnier, one of the most intense, brutal, and uncompromising films of the year so far.
