Trailer Review: BLADE RUNNER 2049 (Teaser Trailer #1)

After years of rumors of a follow-up from Ridley Scott, an official announcement of a Denis Villeneuve directed film, and months of radio silence, the first teaser for the highly anticipated Blade Runner follow-up, Blade Runner 2049, has finally arrived. Set 30 years after the original, this film sees Ryan Gosling playing a new Blade Runner who finds himself searching for Rick Deckard, who disappeared 30 years ago after the events of the original film.

Movie Review: LA LA LAND

A quick Google search will find hundreds upon hundreds of positive La La Land reviews. This review will be written from a bit more personal of a perspective. The last thing I want to do is spoil a single moment of this movie for you as it slowly cycles through its limited release. So, instead of just discussing the technical achievements and directorial triumphs of La La Land, since we’re all part of one big movie-loving family, I’d like to take you through the evening where I discovered (dare I say it) one of my favorite movies of all time.

EDITORIAL: Denis Villeneuve To Bring Back 'Blade Runner' For A New Generation

Blade Runner 2049 is one of the most interesting films coming out next year. It is being directed by acclaimed filmmaker Dennis Villeneuve (whom we've been talking about all week), shot by iconic cinematographer Roger Deakins, and will even see Harrison Ford return to reprise his role as Rick Deckard. Ford is joined by Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling, who I am sure will be the "hero" of the movie, while Ford plays a similar role to what he played in The Force Awakens.

It molds so many elements into one cohesive package that will give you a blast at the cinema and won't alienate you even with the sudden appearance of a giant talking bug in a car.
