In 2029, a not so distant future, mutants have stopped being born,
the remainders of their race have gone into hiding. Logan (Hugh Jackman)
is at rock bottom, working as a limo driver, drinking himself mad every
day and caring for an ailing Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) in the middle of
the desert. When an innocent girl (Dafne Keen) enters their life they
might just have found a real purpose to their lost lives.
Sad,
brutal, powerful, and most importantly, freshly original, Logan is a
great piece of cinema with performers committed to this material in a
way we haven't quite seen before in the genre which pays off by hitting emotional heights for which the audience might be as unprepared for as much
as they are touched by it.
