DETECTIVE PIKACHU Trailer & Poster Officially Released

Today we got the first official trailer for POKÉMON: Detective Pikachu, starring the voice of Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) as Pikachu, everyone’s favorite Pokémon. The film will be a combination of live-action and animation. You can check out the poster and the trailer below:

Movie Review: LIFE

Aboard the International Space Station, a team of six astronauts is preparing for the approach of a probe carrying an extremely valuable treasure: a cell of alien life. When the scientists try to give life to the cell, things seem to go smoothly until the alien life form becomes conscious and terrifying events start to unfold.

Not even the fact that I am a huge Sci-Fi and Horror fan, nor my love for the actors involved could manage to save this generic, bland piece of directing that left me utterly uninterested and bored. This feature is an endeavor in terrible character development and embarrassing storytelling that manages to arouse fascination only in small components of an otherwise messy picture.

Trailer Review: DEADPOOL 2 ('No Good Deed' Teaser)

The biggest news this weekend is the quality and success of the latest film in the X-Men franchise, the (supposed) final appearance for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Logan.  But that's not the only X news. Playing before the screenings of Logan this weekend, was a very special treat for fans.  The very first teaser (titled 'No Good Deed') for the currently untitled Deadpool sequel was screened, and it was great.  Check it out in all of its glory below:

Movie Review: X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is the first spin-off film set in the Fox X-Men Universe that focuses on the signature Wolverine character. Hugh Jackman returns for the titular role in this film that goes back in time to tell the origin story for the Wolverine we all know and love. The film was directed by Gavin Hood and stars Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, Lynn Collins, Taylor Kitsch, and Ryan Reynolds alongside Jackman.

Deadpool.  The merc with a mouth.  The regeneratin' degenerate.  I mean, what can I really say about Wade Wilson and his brand new movie?  IT WAS F$@#ING AWESOME!!!

Movie Review: THE VOICES

While surfing through the channels the other night, looking for something to watch, I came across this movie, The Voices.  I remember hearing people talk about it, saying that it was a good film, but I just never got around to watching it.  The only thing I knew about it was that it starred Ryan Reynolds.  Then I read the description.

R.I.P.D. - Review

  
After watching R.I.P.D. and reading several bad reviews, Idecided to write my own.  Now, let's get this out of the way first: I didn't hate this movie like so many others seem to have.  In fact, I actually enjoyed watching it, for the most part. Yes, it had its problems, but it also had plenty of action, which isn't new for director Robert Schwentke (Red, Flightplan), a fair amount of comedy, a great cast, and beautiful Boston cinematography.
