Welcome back to the first DECADE OF BEST PICTURES series of reviews where we will be taking a look at a decade of Best Picture winners over the course of 10 days. In this series we will be looking at the decade of Best Pictures from 2005-2015 in reverse chronological order! This final entry will be for the 2005 Best Picture winner CRASH!

Movie Review: COLLATERAL BEAUTY

Collateral Beauty is the latest Will Smith vehicle, this time directed by The Devil Wears Prada director David Frankel. The film is about a guy who is a major player at an advertising agency dealing with the death of his daughter. For risk of spoilers, I cannot say more. The film stars Will Smith, of course, as well as Edward Norton, Keira Knightley, Michael Peña, Naomie Harris, Jacob Latimore, Kate Winslet, and Helen Mirren. Overall, I thought the film was ok. It surprised me from the outset but did a few things near the end that spoiled much of the enjoyment I did get from the film.

Movie Review: Ant-Man

Marvel Studio's latest film, Ant-Man, hit theaters recently, ending their Phase 2 with a bang.  A heist film at its core, Ant-Man delivered on all fronts, and has me yearning to go back to the theater to watch it again.
