What's On Netflix?: THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS

Welcome to another installment of WHAT'S ON NETFLIX?, where we pick out a film or series currently playing on Netflix and review it for the fans.  This week's selection is the animated film...THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS.

After his success with Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2 (seriously, who doesn’t love Minions just a little bit?), Chris Renaud is back at again with Universal Pictures, and this time he is joined by an all-star cast featuring Louis C.K., Kevin Hart, Eric Stonestreet, and Jenny Slate. This buddy comedy is set in New York and proves to be a fun watch for all ages. 

EDITORIAL: Who Should Host The Oscars?

We are now less than three months away from the 89th Annual Academy Awards! The race has begun and films like La La Land, Moonlight, Manchester By The Sea, Silence and so many more are campaigning in full force.

The National Board of Review just named the aforementioned Manchester By The Sea as the best film of the year (and it is pretty freaking great), The New York Film Critics Circle named La La Land their best film of the year, and Moonlight won the Gotham award for best film of the year, so the race is pretty open right now. But I'm not here to talk about the race, and to predict what film will win what. I love predicting the Oscar winners and nominees, I do it all the time, but the most interesting aspect of the 89th Annual academy awards, is who will take on the challenge of host?

Movie Review: CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE

After the success of We're the Millers, a comedy that got mixed reactions from critics, yet that I personally really enjoyed, Rawson Marshall Thurber is back to make audiences laugh once again with his newest comedy, Central Intelligence.  In this film, Calvin Joyner (Kevin Hart) meets, through Facebook, an old high school classmate, Bob Stone (Dwayne Johnson). After what appears to be an innocent night of drinks between buddies, Calvin is lured into an espionage plot by Stone who doesn't accept 'no' as an answer for Calvin's involvement.
