Movie Review: THE ACCOUNTANT

Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a very reliable accountant who is employed by big corporations to check their financial status. Yet, that's not all that there is to him: he seems to be in business with the biggest criminals in the world, he knows how to shoot from a mile away, and he owns a Pollock and a Renoir among many other mysterious things.

Movie Review: THE ACCOUNTANT

The Accountant is a 2016 action-thriller directed by Gavin O’Connor (notable for his films Warrior and Miracle) and is the story of Christian “Chris” Wolff who is a forensic accountant/financial consultant who does work for dangerous people and has a very particular set of skills (to steal from another film) that make him lethal. This film stars Ben Affleck, Anna Kendrick, Jon Bernthal, J.K. Simmons, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, and John Lithgow. This is an extremely strong and intriguing film that is one of the best action films of the year.

Movie Review: MIKE AND DAVE NEED WEDDING DATES

To Mike and Dave, they think they've made all their family gatherings better parties, but to their parents, and admittedly to reality, these brothers, played by Zac Efron and Adam Devine, have actually ruined all of the family events they've participated in for their wild party style. So when it's their sister Jaine's (Sugar Lyn Beard) turn to get married, the family is taking no risks: Mike and Dave are to bring dates to the wedding in order to be kept at bay. That's when Alice (Anna Kendrick) and Tatiana (Aubrey Plaza) put on the facade of being nice, ordinary girls to score a free weekend in Hawaii after discovering an advert from the two brothers. Yet when the chaotic spirits of both pairs start to explode, an apparently normal weekend turns into a ludicrous series of events.

The second trailer for the upcoming Trolls movie has been released, reminding us once again that a movie based on a 90s toy known for its hair and little else is in fact a thing which is happening.
