Throughout my years as a movie lover, there’s been one genre that has always grabbed my interest, and that genre is horror. I’ve been a horror fan ever since I can remember, from watching classics like Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween, to more modern day horror like Paranormal Activity and The Conjuring, and even sci-fi driven horror like Jurassic Park and Alien. It’s the one genre where I’ll give just about anything a try, including remakes.
Welcome to another installment of the TRASH BIN, where we watch the worst movies Hollywood has to offer, according to the critics, and give you our thoughts, good or bad. For the month of October, we are chronicling for you some classic gems in the horror genre. It’s only fitting, then, that October’s Trash Bin take on some of horror’s less-than-classic lumps of coal. I recently came across an amazing Sci-Fi short film by the director of Ainoa, Marco Kalantari, call The Shaman. This short film is described by the filmmakers as "mind-bending", and they were right.
That was my initial reaction to watching the brand new, 3-minute full trailer for DC's highly anticipated film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and it continues to be my reaction after each subsequent viewing.
