Movie Review: VOODOO


VOODOO, set to release in theaters on February 24 across the U.S., hits the streaming channels via Freestyle Digital Media shortly after that.  So far, the biggest hype for this ‘found footage’ genre horror movie from HyperCube Films and Cicero-native Tom Costabile is the fact that the trailer for VOODOO has been banned from being shown on Facebook for being ‘to shocking and offensive’. That made me want to take a look at VOODOO for a movie review.

Movie Review: BLAIR WITCH


After discovering a video allegedly showing what he believes to be his sister Heather vanishing in the Blair Forest, James (James Allen McCune) sets out, with the help of some of his best friends, to explore the forest where his sister vanished years ago, strongly believing that she actually is still there and not quite believing the legends of the Blair Witch believed to inhabit the forest and haunt whoever goes into it.

This week we got some pretty big trailers, including new ones for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Doctor Strange, and first looks at Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and Bad Santa 2.  We also saw trailers for some interesting indie films like Brother Nature, Moonlight, and The Sea Of Trees.
