Trailer Review: THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE (Trailer #4)

Howdy fellow film freaks, Robert here. The fourth trailer for the upcoming Lego Movie spinoff, The Lego Batman Movie has dropped, and it looks like this one is all about making the moral of the story clear as ... something that's really clear. Check it out below.

So I know you may not have caught it, since they were being really ambiguous and super-artsy and everything, but this trailer is all about how Bats needs to stop being such a big frowny-face loner and make some friends. 'Cause, y'know, everything is cool when you're part of a team. Or so I've heard.

This new trailer is really heavy handed with driving that message home, almost as bad as the opening of Zootopia was about encouraging little girls to follow their dreams. That's probably why the trailer is so zany and hyper-kinetic the rest of the time. This seems to be the season for depressing trailers. But who cares? It's a follow up to one of the best animated movies in recent memory, and Will Arnett returns as Batman. That's really all I need to know.

The Lego Batman Movie arrives February 2017.
