Chris Pratt Has A Special Message For Fan About 'Guardians of theGalaxy Vol. 2'

With filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 set to begin next month, it's no surprise that Star Lord himself, Chris Pratt, has already started his prep work.  The actor took a photo of himself in costume, listening to his newest mixtape, "Awesome Mix, Vol. 2" on his Walkman and posted a special message for fans.

Pratt, along with the rest of the cast, was on hand a recent table read of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 script and director James Gunn later confirmed that all the film’s major roles, including Star-Lord’s father and the film’s villain, have already been cast.  Kurt Russell had been in talks to play the former, and assuming we haven’t heard that he’s dropped out, we’ll guess that negotiations went well and he’s officially part of the team.  Gunn and Marvel had earlier approached Matthew McConaughey about playing the film’s villain, but McConaughey reportedly turned down the role.

Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 opens in theaters on May 5, 2017.
