SUMMER FILM CHALLENGE 2017 - Week 12 Update

Week 12 of our SUMMER FILM CHALLENGE is here and this week we saw the release of three films, Dunkirk, Girls Trip, and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.  We also so something that none of us here thought would happen back in April when we made our initial picks -- Wonder Woman has overtaken Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as the top film at the Summer domestic box office.


This week saw Geeks + Gamers' Editor-of-Film, Ryan McKenna maintain the lead with 61 points.  He is closely followed by The Merc himself, with 55 points.  And following up is G+G's Editor-in-Chief, Jonathan Youngblood with 50 points.  With most of the big films already out, it is now just a race to the finish as we have just over a month for these films to build steam or die trying.  Who will be the Summer Film Challenge champ?  Only time will tell!
