The latest chapter in the Boss Baby saga has been released with the feature film sequel The Boss Baby: Family Business. The new film tells the story of Tim and Ted (aka The Boss Baby), all grown up. Tim has kids of his own and Ted is a successful businessman (of course), but these once very close siblings are no longer as tight as they once were.
Ted has no memory of his time at Baby Corp, while Tim remembers it all. This lines up with the season 4 finale of the Netflix series The Boss Baby: Back In Business, as the Boss Baby decides to retire and become a regular baby. There was never any confirmation that this was the final season, and so fans have been speculating for months about what could come next.
Well, folks... I'm sorry to report that official confirmation about the future of the series has come from the main star himself, JP Karliak, in a recent Twitter post:
It makes sense that what happens at the end of season 4 is the end of the series, as it lines up perfectly with how the second film starts. I am personally bummed, as I have really enjoyed watching that show with my daughter and gave me a greater appreciation for the sequel film.
All four season of The Boss Baby: Back in Business are available on Netflix with the sequel film, The Boss Baby: Family Business, now in theaters and available to stream on Peacock.
Let me know your thoughts about this news. Are you sad to see it end? And what did you think about the new movie? I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
