I have been addicted to Full Moon Productions' Puppet Master movies since the beginning of the franchise. Andre Toulon’s living puppets have become like old friends to me. Now, my old friends have a new installment and a new addition to the franchise, one of my favorite actors; action star Paul Logan.
Check out the official trailer for Puppet Master: Axis Termination, which promises plenty of action and killer puppets.
The trailer for Puppet Master: Axis Termination, billed as the ‘bloody conclusion to the Axis Trilogy’, promises that this movie is filled with same mayhem and vengeance driven action on the part of the puppets that fans of the genre have come to expect from the likes of Leech Woman, Blade, Jester and Tunneler. Toulon’s puppets have been both bad guys and good guys in the franchise’s various movies over the years. Judging from the trailer, they are going to be the good guys in the movie working alongside Paul Logan’s character of Brooks, who appears to be military, and George Appleby as the mysterious Dr. Ivan.
George Appleby is best known for his roles in Game of Thrones and Ravenwolf Towers, and Paul Logan is best known as John Crenshaw from the movie The Horde. To see these two favorites teaming together with Toulon’s puppets makes me even more excited to see this newest installment in the Puppet Master franchise.
Both the trailer and the title for this movie, seems to indicate that it takes place during WWII where the Puppet Master movies first began and that the Puppets will be facing the evilest of evil Nazi’s once more in a gory showdown, especially the vicious Doktor Grede Ernst played by Tonya Kay. The trailer seems to promise even more killer puppets having been created to work for the Nazi leader in this movie.
The Puppet Master: Axis Termination trailer has my favorite Full Moon Productions ‘characters’, it has Paul Logan and it promises the kind of action and over the top villains that have made the Puppet Master movies a cult favorite. If you love these movies as much as I do, your going to be as excited to see Puppet Master: Axis Termination as I am!
