New 'X-Men: Apocalypse' And 'Captain America: Civil War' PostersReleased

Today was a big day for superhero movies with the release of the newest trailer for Captain America: Civil War (check out my review coming soon), as well as two brand new posters, one for civil War and the other for X-Men: Apocalypse.  Check out the posters below:

This poster for X-Men: Apocalypse follows another released just the other day, which showed Apocalypse and his Four Horsemen (Magneto, Storm, Psylock, Archangel) with the tag line "DESTROY".  This time around we get a look at the heroes of the film, including Mystique, Beast, Quicksilver, Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Professor X, with the tag line "DEFEND".

These posters aren't anything spectacular, but they are nice character posters.  They let you see all the main characters on their respective sides, and serves a nice tease for the film.

This new poster for Captain America: Civil War is a perfect teaser poster for this epic film.  It shows both teams squaring off for battle.  The one problem I have with it is that they completely left of Paul Rudd's Ant-Man.  I get that they wanted to make it even with the number of people on the poster, and that they weren't ready to put Spider-Man on a poster yet, but it still bothers me.  However, all-in-all, I do like this poster and can't wait for the film.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6, 2016, while X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters just three weeks later on May 27, 2016.
