Trailer Review: MARVEL'S INHUMANS

The first trailer for Inhumans, the newest TV series in the Marvel universe, has invaded this planet. Check it out below:

Marvel TV series have disappointed me thus far, but this one looks like it might change that. I like the sense of epic moments this trailer conveys, and they've made a couple of casting choices that peak my interest; Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones' Ramsay Bolton) appears as Maximus, and and it looks like he'll once again be playing the devious schemer. But the big draw for me is Anson Mount (Cullen Bohannon from Hell on Wheels), starring as Black Bolt, the leader of the Inhumans, who can't speak because his voice is too powerful. It's difficult to pull off a compelling performance without using speech, so I'm looking forward to seeing how he does.

And there's also a giant, teleporting pug. That's a plus. The scheming, wordless emoting and mass migration all start on September 29th on ABC, with the first two episodes being shown in IMAX theaters on September 1st.
